The Every Baby Matters Mission at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels provides mother and baby with an in-home visit by a registered nurse following the days of delivery. The nurse provides parenting education and a medical assessment for mother and baby. The EBMM strives to give parents the tools they need to allow babies to thrive in strong, healthy families.

The largest gift from the Friends Foundation to date benefited the purchase and installation of the Cardiac Cath lab at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills. The lab is equipped with two state-of-the-art rooms, allowing heart and vessel imaging, special procedures, studies, and treatments. We support healthy hearts and providing the best cardiac care to our patients.

The Family Health Center at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills provides comprehensive family health services for all ages to more than 10,000 patients each year (of which 55 percent are uninsured or underinsured). Through philanthropic support, funding is provided for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment, as well as clinical operational support.

The FHC is also the classroom for the Family Medicine Residency Program, which accepts nine residents, who are competitively chosen out of approximately 1,000 applicants each year.
