1869 Society

In 1869, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa was founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. In 2019, we celebrated our 150th anniversary by establishing the 1869 Society. The 1869 Society (formerly known as Associate Giving Campaign) is exclusively for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa and Children’s Hospital Associates who make an annual personal financial gift to the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Foundation, CHRISTUS Children’s Foundation, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa San Marcos Foundation or the Associate Relief Fund.

If every CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Associate gave just $5 per pay period, together we could raise more than $468,000 to impact the lives of our patients and fellow Associates.

New in 2026, Associates will now have the option to donate to the Associate Relief Fund, a fund in collaboration with the CHRISTUS Health Foundation. The Associate Relief Fund provides financial Assistance to CHRISTUS Health Associates who are experiencing personal short-term financial hardship due to tragedy, disaster, or other extreme life events.  For more information on the Associate Relief Fund, please view our FAQ here.
