The 20th Friends Benefit pageant was held September 10-13, 2008, in conjunction with the Beech Grove Promoter's Club Fall Festival. A total of 39 candidates collected $3099.66. Miss Donna Duncan, daughter of Ashley Belcher and Ricky Duncan took honors as 2008 Missy Tiny Tot. Eli Christopher Szczyrba, son of Ashley and Kaz Szczyrba, is the 2008 Mr. Tiny Tot.
Miss Joslyn Petrecca, daughter of Rici and Tony Petrecca is our Grand Champion Little Miss. Paige Kosowan, daughter of Jessica Milner and Adam Kosowan is our 2008 Little Miss. Carter Smith, son of Sunny Fulmer and Ethan Wilson, son of Brenda and Dennis Wilson received Little Mr. awards.
Miss Taylor Collins-Cardis, daughter of Jessica Cardis and Dave Collins is our Grand Champion Junior Miss, and Cassidy Shelton, daughter of Charlene Shelton and Rob Shelton is our 2008 Junior Miss. Bishop Smith, son of Sunny Fulmer, and Hunter Wilson, son of Dennis and Brenda Wilson, were declared Junior Mr.
Proceeds from the pageant will allow the Friends Foundation to continue the work in support of children living with HIV/AIDS.
